To strengthen our Slovakian AMV 8x8 Delivery Project team, we are now looking for

Local Content Production Manager

to operate in the interface of local companies on-site in Slovakia as an ex-pat. 

The Local Content Production Manager is a key role in the execution of Slovakian AMV 8x8 delivery project and you will be a part of the project and Patria production team. After some months orientation period in Hämeenlinna, your workplace will mainly be in Slovakia, where the main activities will be placed in Tisovec and Trenčín. You’ll be working locally with the Slovak organization and people and communicating and reporting back to our Production Management in Finland. The period in Slovakia will be separately agreed, but preliminary estimation for this assignment’s duration is for the summer 2027. The employment in the role is permanent and after returning to Finland will be located at our office in Hämeenlinna.

Key Responsibilities:

• Point of Contact for Slovak companies in production perspective, creating strong relations with Main Supplier and Tier 1 companies supporting local deliveries
• Active and developing role to support Slovak companies to success on their production part in program and taking care of the companies’ follow ups and status presentations in both project and production management meetings. 
• Reporting to the Production director 
• Role is part of the great Slovakian Delivery project team and is active in communication with other sub-project managers, such as SEM, Sourcing and Technology transfer 

Required Competencies:

• Experienced technical and manufacturing competence to manage and support local companies in technical matters concerning Patria solutions together with the team
• Previous experience in production and product management
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like welding, assembly and vehicle testing. 
• Project Management skills and understanding for complex systems
• A good team player with ambition and good collaboration and communication skills, who is not afraid to challenge constructively and improve the business
• Ability to work effectively and independently with strong work ethic
• Ability to travel in Slovakia and Finland
• Fluent spoken and written English

Competencies seen as an advantage:

• Slovak language skills
• Previous experience from defence industry
• Technical understanding of the vehicle platforms
• Previous experience working as an ex-pat
