We are looking for a 

Maintenance Engineer/Planner 

to join our Helicopter Life Cycle Support team in Arlanda. 

Tasks and responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer/planner, you are a crucial member of the team responsible for technical support towards the maintenance events. You act as a link between sales and production preparing and supporting trough out the entire maintenance- and repair projects. In this position you play a vital role in ensuring that production process run smoothly and efficiently by promptly addressing any issues that may arise, ensuring qualitative delivery towards the clients. You will be part of a team of 8 people, consisting of planners and engineers, reporting to the production support manager.

  • Support the maintenance event from start to finish, create and prepare Work Packs 
  • Set up workorders and tasks in the ERP system
  • Provide technical support to production staff
  • Review contractual and technical documentation, review planned work to identify critical tasks 
  • Create material requests and coordinate the provisioning of consumables, tools and equipment.
  • Support the resolution of material issues.
  • Support production in the daily administration of ERP and internal documentation 
  • Support Continuation Training by providing relevant information to Production Staff to maintain their up-to-date knowledge of technology 
  • Review records of work performed to ensure completion of all required tasks and compliance with internal and external authority requirements
  • Support/promote continuous improvement initiatives, create and update routines and instructions

Who you are

To succeed in the role, you have a strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking, as well as strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Required competencies: 

  • Proven experience in a technical position from MRO environment or in a similar role
  • Engineering University degree or Licensed Aircraft Engineer or similar  
  • Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken 
  • Meritorious with good knowledge of Part-145 regulations
