We are looking for a 

PROMOTION EVENT MANAGER

As Patria continues to grow, we are strengthening our team with a talent who has an eye and yearning for b2b promotion activities and customer event planning and execution in an international environment. 

In this role, you’ll be working in our Global Division which is responsible for creating growth and sales in the international defence market. Our team is full of committed professionals full of energy. There are more than 40 of us and we are located all over Finland and Europe. And one is missing… 

Your responsibilities:

As Promotion Event Manager, you are responsible for planning, managing, and developing Patria´s Global Division promotion and customer event planning in various countries. Your must-win battle is to organize different kinds of successful customer events to promote and increase awareness of Patria’s offering in selected markets and to support Patria’s growth targets as a professional manager and in a timely manner. We value high teamwork and open communication. In this role, you work closely with our business development and sales teams as well as with other marketing professionals. You are also responsible of work with budgetary constraints to ensure an efficient and effective promotional and customer event planning and execution to our division.

Your everyday work consists of implementing the yearly promotion activity plans, executing customer events and exhibitions in various countries, supporting our sales teams to promote Patria’s offering and creating better situational awareness of customer topics ongoing in the public in our prioritized countries. 

In the big picture you’re the person who can take active role in executing the Global division promotion planning, enhance our promotion activities to support our ambitious growth targets in prioritized countries and support our sales projects from promotion point of view.

What we are looking for:

To be a match, we hope you have:

• Few years of experience in a similar position
• A degree in a field such as advertising, marketing, event management or business
• A positive and creative mind 
• Excellent project management skills
• Good interaction and interpersonal skills 
• Experience in marketing or sales promotion
• Excellent skills in English both spoken and written, other language skills are also beneficial
• Ability and willingness to travel
